Larimer County, Colorado Inmate Search

An inmate search is a public tool that allows anyone to check whether a specific person is currently held in a county jail or correctional facility. In Larimer County, this service is managed by the County Sheriff’s Office, which operates the county jail. There is no state or federal prison in the county.

The two most populated cities in the county are Fort Collins and Loveland. Fort Collins Police Services serves Fort Collins, and the Loveland Police Department serves Loveland. Neither department maintains a separate public jail roster. Persons arrested by either agency are transferred to and housed at the Larimer County Jail.

A typical inmate search provides the following information:

  • Full name and date of birth
  • Inmate number and booking number
  • Arrest date, time, and arresting agency
  • Nature of charges
  • Bond type and amount
  • Custody status (in custody, released, or transferred)
